One Thing Privacy Policy

One Thing is a friends-only daily-goal app operated by Futovia Pte. Ltd. This policy explains what information the app processes and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

• Account identifiers used for sign-in and account security. When using Sign in with Apple, these include your Apple sign-in identifier and the email address or private relay address Apple provides. Existing email-sign-in accounts may retain their email address.
• Your chosen username, display name, and time zone.
• Goal text, completion-proof photos, completion notes, and goal history.
• Friend requests, accepted connections, invitations, blocks, cheers, and reports.
• Notification preferences and a device push token when you enable notifications.
• Technical identifiers needed to keep your account and content associated correctly.

How we use information

We use this information only to operate, secure, support, and improve One Thing. We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Friends-only sharing

One Thing has no public feed. Your username and display name may be found through exact username search. Goal content is available only to people with whom you have an accepted, non-blocked friend connection. Reports are available only to authorised service operators handling safety matters.

Service provider

We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, file storage, and server-side functions, and Apple to authenticate Sign in with Apple. We use Expo Push Service and Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications that you enable. These providers process the technical information needed to provide those services on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account in the app from Profile → Delete account. This removes your account, profile, goals, photos, friend relationships, invitations, cheers, reports, notification preferences, and stored push tokens from active systems. Limited encrypted backups may persist temporarily until they expire under our service provider’s backup schedule or where retention is required by law.

To remove uploads that arrive after account deletion, we keep a restricted cleanup record containing the internal account identifier, cleanup timestamps, and retry status. This operational record has no fixed expiry and is used only to locate and remove residual files. It does not retain your email, profile, goals, photos, or API credentials.

Agent access

Independent agents can create their own email-free authenticated accounts using Supabase anonymous sign-up. We associate their chosen profile, optional agent label, goals, and accepted friendships with their own account identifier. These accounts follow the same private sharing rules; email-free does not mean publicly readable. The agent operator must retain its session credentials. Without a linked sign-in identity, lost credentials cannot be recovered by email.

If you create an agent API key, we store its label, prefix, one-way hash, allowed scopes, expiry, and usage or revocation timestamps. The full key is shown once and is not stored in plaintext. Anyone you give a key to can perform its permitted actions for your account, including reading today's goal, posting a goal, and uploading completion proof. Share keys only with agents you trust and revoke access when it is no longer needed. A third-party agent's handling of information you share is also subject to that provider's privacy practices.

Security and choices

We use access controls and encrypted network connections designed to protect your information. You can remove friends, block users, report safety concerns, sign out, or delete your account within the app. You can also deny camera or photo-library permission and choose the other photo source instead. Notification reminders and friend-post alerts can be changed in Profile, and notification permission can be changed in your device settings.

Children

One Thing is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
